About Sapno Ke Pankh
Our Belief and Identity
Sapno Ke Pankh, established in the year 2019, helps underprivileged children and women achieve their potential through education and livelihood programs.
At Sapno Ke Pankh, we believe that education and awareness are the best tools to empower children and women in need. We are a non-profit organization founded on the principle of empowering children and women through education. Our work helps break the chains that bind these women and children to circumstances of hardship and poverty.
Our Vision
Children are the foundation of a strong nation. Sapno Ke Pankh works towards integrating underprivileged children into mainstream education and providing self-esteem to women who, in turn, realize their potential for financial independence through livelihood programs that focus on employment generation.
Our Mission
Education has the power to break the cycle of poverty and give us the opportunity to flourish. Sapno Ke Pankh strives to help under privileged children and women develop self-esteem and realize their potential.
Our Welfare Programs
Nanhe Kadam
Nanhe Kadam is a school with distinction for the under-privileged children and follows the “Guru Shishya Parampara”. Our key objective is to get these children started with an informal setting and prepare them to be absorbed in regular public schools under the EWS category. Till now, 5 students have already been mainstreamed and we hope to benefit many more.
In November 2019, we started with 20 students and have grown to 150 students till date. All students are provided with uniform school books, school bags & shoes.
The school is running a morning shift Nursery, KG, 1st & Evening Shift – 2nd, 3rd , 4th & 5th and focuses on conferring all round training and education encompassing Moral Values, Character Building, Personal Hygiene, English, Hindi, Maths, EVS, Arts, Sports, Dance and Music. Children are given homework as well to ensure that children continue to be engaged after the school
We are gratefull to our teachers, volunteers and donors for empowering and encouraging us to do the work that we do.
Foundation
Nanhe Kadam was started by a group of passionate leaders who saw the need to provide education to the children who couldn’t afford it. However, we faced many challenges along the way.
Early Struggle
The school didn’t have a proper building or equipment, and the teachers had to make do with whatever they could find. They knew that education was the key to a better future for these children.
Persistence
Despite the lack of resources, the teachers worked tirelessly to provide quality education to their students. They went above and beyond to make learning fun and engaging, often using games and interactive activities to teach various subjects.
Fruitful Result
Today, Nanhe Kadam is thriving, and the students are excelling in their studies. Many of them have gone on to pursue higher education and secure better jobs. It has become a beacon of hope for the underprivileged children in the area, and its success is a testament to the power of education and the dedication of its teachers.
Future Projects
We plan to launch the 1st Shambhavi Center in Gurugram. Initially, this center will offer tailoring course for women and will subsequently expand to offer other employment oriented courses like beautician training, cooking classes, etc.

Suman Gupta is an engineer by qualification, a spiritual seeker and is passionate about giving back to the community. She has been involved in educating under-privileged children since 2011. She lives with her family in Gurugram.
